Our community based Parent and Toddler group provides a space for parents and children to discover and learn new things about themselves and their surroundings. It encourages parents to network together while building confidence in themselves and their skills as parents and gives toddlers contact with other children while developing their social, language and interaction skills.

Supported Parent & Baby Groups
SSP supports the running of a First Friends Mounttown (leads to brochure) which meets on Friday mornings in Mounttown Community Facility, 10am to 12 noon. This First Friends is led by a Barnardos worker and a team of volunteers. Part of the session uses the PEEP programme (leads to www.peeple.org.uk) The Working Group and the programme is funded under the Katherine Howard Foundation (www.khf.ie) “Supporting Parents in their Parenting Role 0 – 3 years”
