Southside Partnership’s Community Projects in Holly House works with and for the local community to help address identified needs and provide services that are of interest to the local residents. We work with young children through our Parent & Toddler groups and our afterschool and homework clubs; we have a drop in club for teenagers and offer one to one support to young people not in education, training or employment. Adults living in the local area have opportunities to participate in adult education classes and recreational and social activities. Our classes include Irish, Art, Yoga, Personal Development and Computers. For those who are unemployed we offer pre-employment supports, including CV preparation.

The centre opens 5 days a week from 9am to early evening.

SSP Hollyhouse ‘Afterschool and Homework Programme’ was created for young people between 4 years and 10 years of age offering them the opportunity to gain social and study skills through a child focused 32 week programme . Our programme includes a focus on reading and writing, learning through sports and recreational activities and, of course, fun is a core component in all we do with young people.
