We are managed by an independent Board of Directors made up of 20 representatives of statutory organisations, local elected representatives, trade union and employer representatives, and leaders from voluntary and community groups.
Through the Department of Community, Equality and Gaeltacht Affairs we are directly funded by Pobal under the Local Development Social Inclusion Programme (LCDP). We also receive significant funding through FAS to manage the Local Employment Service and our Community Employment Scheme. In addition, we receive funding from a variety of sources including, Dun Laoghaire VEC , the Department of Social and Family Affairs, the Health Service Executive, the Local Drugs Task Force, the Wheel and the European Union.
The Southside Partnership DLR is committed to the equality and inclusion of social groups such as Travellers, people with disabilities, asylum seekers and refugees, lone parents, disadvantaged women, the unemployed, ex-offenders, early school leavers, older people, the lesbian, gay, bi-sexual community and young people at-risk. We also support local organisations, schools, community groups and statutory agencies to work together to effect positive changes in the quality of life of disadvantaged communities.
