    GDPR - Moving on to Implementation - Full Day Training

    Southside Community Training Network in conjunction with DLR PPN will be offering a full-day training on GDPR with special focus on implementation and compliance since the introduction of the new regulations. The course will be aimed at community groups in DLR, particularly those with a social inclusion focus.

    Impact Measurement and Evaluation

    Being able to demonstrate the impact of what it is your organisation does is important, especially if you are looking for funding or communicating about what you do. The training will provide an introduction to how to assess the impact of your work and tools that you can apply to measure the outcomes of your organisation's activities.

    Trainer: Sarah Murphy has worked as a Programme Manager in national and international NGOs for over ten years where she led research and evaluation projects. She now works as a research consultant and trainer in the areas of evaluation and governance. Sarah also lectures on social policy and NGO governance.

    RePower Women's Programme - Building Capacity to Access Employment

    New part-time programme of 5 modules for women who wish to develop new skills & increase their confidence. This programme is open to women who are not in employment and are not in receipt of Job Seekers Allowance or Job Seekers Benefit and not on Stamp 3 visa.

    This training is for groups that do not have a communications plan or who are revising an existing plan. The training will cover:
    - What is PR?
    - Overview of communications strategy:
    - Situation analysis.
    - Your organisation objectives.
    - Your target audiences.
    - Your key messages.
    - Developing a PR strategy and communications plan for your organisation.
    - Monitoring impact and measuring success..

    Trainer: Martina Quinn is the founder and Managing Director of Alice PR. She has wide-ranging experience of providing strategic communications support to organisations in the public, corporate, social justice and education sectors. She has lectured at the National College of Ireland, the National College of Art and Design, Griffith College Dublin and the Communications and Management Institute.
