Supporting Neighbourhood Development

This strategy provides ongoing support to three regional networks of community groups: Dundrum/Western Region; Dún Laoghaire/Eastern Region and the RAPID programme in Loughlinstown/Shankill. The partnership also provides supports, training and technical assistance to residents' associations, community groups and voluntary organisations in neighbourhoods throughout the partnership area.

Recent actions include:

• Facilitating the design of the Community Participation Strategy for the 2008-2013 RAPID Strategic Plan for the Loughlinstown / Shanganagh Area.
• Acting as host agency for Holly House Community Development Project in Loughlinstown.
• Facilitating regional network meetings for groups for the Western Region of the County and the Dún Laoghaire Region.
• Comprehensive training and capacity building of Estate Management Groups in Dún Laoghaire Rathdown.
